My daughter -- who is delighted that I've turned her on to LibriVox! -- was trying to download the recording of Master and Man and noticed that it is not listed in the catalog  even though it is listed on the Home Page as a newly "completed work." She is correct, as far as I can see. ...

How long?

I'm pretty new here and just getting into the groove having done only 6 recordings. I've measured and determined that my average for reading, editing, saving, ID3-ing, and uploading is about 1,100 words per hour. That is to say, I can complete about a 2,200 word text from start to finish in just 2 h...

Caet,
I've just uploaded Sections 1-3 and modified the "magic box." Because this is my first time through, would you mind double checking me on this? In the meantime, I'll keep reading!

Voice processor

I'm fortunate in that we do audio publishing in our company (my wife and I publish a fine art photography magazine and PDF companion publication) so we can buy gear we need as a tax write-off! Having said that, I have been amazed how a very small amount of gear can create a fantastic audio studio fo...

An Adobe Audition trick

I use Adobe Audition as my software for recording and it does a neat thing I thought I would pass on in case others could use it. While recording, I can insert a visible "marker" in the time line -- without stopping the recording -- by simply pressing a key. (The default is the F8 key, but...

I'm working on a solo project for the next couple of weeks, but I'll check back in when that's done to see ...

Thanks for the clarification. The more I thought about this, the more Rye-ah seemed correct -- as in Jedediah, or Jeremiah, etc. So, Rye-ah it is for Riah. And away we go . . . :D

Name pronunciations

Quick question before I start Book 3 Chapter 1. There are two names that should probably be pronouced by all readers consistently -- Riah, and Lammle. Do you want RYE-AH or REE-AH? Either way, should I assume the accent on the first syllable? Do you want LAMM-EL, LAMM-LEE, LAMM-LA -- again with the ...
