Thanks, Barbara, I had to look up Wikipedia. It would have to have been a federal election. In 1903, only SA and WA allowed women to vote at the state level. In took up to 1911 for the rest of the states to follow the federal example. Your guess is as good as mine as to whether Ernest is the narrato...
