Sign me up for Chapter 40!

Ullo Sorry for delay in replying, I've been at two different conferences this week and have a nasty headcold, possibly as a result. Anyway, here are the lines - and a selection of non-verbal encouragers, one of which will hopefully suit. http://alexfoster.me.uk/librivox/af-pyg-hig-pernickty.wav Look...

OK, all done. An hour's pleasant work I've been putting off for nearly 3 years! Files uploaded to uploader as I've run out of space. I waited for ages, but it didn't give me an URL? More than happy to make corrections etc, just email me. In particular if the "aaawooohs" etc don't work (bec...

Speak my name (especially here!) and I appear! Finishing this project and completing more is definitely something I want to do. I have a mental list of books I want to do that I won't start until this is done. I am struggling to find time - not because I don't have time but because I'm chronically b...

Thanks for the PM - I wouldn't have checked back here without it.

Here are the missing narrator lines:

(Or at least they will be shortly when the upload finishes!)

Cheers,

Hello I have done a recording of a Sherlock Holmes short story with lots of Christmas references - it's about a jewel found in a Christmas goose - and there's frost and fires and stuff in it. Can I submit it to this - or should it go to short mysteries or maybe short stories? Text http://www.gutenbe...

Hello all - so much for being done over the summer! Three new chapters done this evening, hopefully it won't be quite so long for remaining 20. http://alexfoster.me.uk/librivox/80days/80days_14-15_verne.mp3 http://alexfoster.me.uk/librivox/80days/80days_16-17_verne.mp3 http://alexfoster.me.uk/libriv...

Thanks K, I am currently standing for election to Nottingham City Council, and the campaign is taking all my free time up. Win or lose, I will have a little more free time from May onwards, and hope to finish before the Summer.

It's pretty unlikely I'll have much time for recording this month or April as I have to write, print, fold, and deliver anything up to 100,000 leaflets a week.

Could we concentrate on getting Act I edited so we know what we're aiming for?
