Yeah -- I like putting in the date and place. Place because we have such a geographically diverse bunch of people with very different accents. I just think that's interesting, and worth spending a second saying out loud.

And dates -- well, these are archives, aren't they?

Might be worth adding links in to signatures in e-mail, usenet, bulletin boards.

I haven't had a warm response in too many places I've tried so far.

That's an excellent way of doing it, because it still sounds like real words.

I think I had somehting like it in Frankenstein and said 'seventeen-blankty-blank' -- which is perilously close to the English gameshow with Les Dawson.

Mine is just amid the clutter on my desk. I use my desktop to display the text and the laptop to do the recording, because for some reason there's a hum on the desktop. I've borrowed my other half's mic -- he used to use it for making electronic music but has a better one now. It's an odd thing with...

Hmmm. Awkward.

The Henry James had some ways of referring a black man that made me feel a little uncomfortable but that wasn't actually a slur. I just read it... It might be different in a situation where there are definite different versions extant.
