Thanks. I'm using the same equipment so I'm not sure where the buz is coming from all of a sudden. I used noise reduction in upoko 6 but I'm still frustrated with the sound...

Woohoo, changing the email worked. I was able to log in to the MW.

Any word on why I might not be able to get a password reset for the MW?

Those are the same instructions. I went through the process again, and still no update password email. I'm getting email notifications about replies to my forum posts, but no update password email.

Submitted a request for a new password per the first 5 steps of http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/BC%27s:_How_to_update_the_Magic_Window but never received an email. I made sure that noreply@librivox.org emails are making it to my inbox and they are.
