I've been gone for so long from this site as the outside life has moved me across the globe and kept me extremely busy. However I'll have time tonight. . . Can I take 45 - Book 7, Chapter 4 - Cana of Galilee?

I know I'm late to this party, but I had a thought - why not put the author as the version? The author of the KJV should be "King James" or "King James Version". This would allow all books of a given version of the Bible to be grouped together when browsing my author. In additio...

This seems to be done, but it's not in the catalog yet. Is that an oversight or is someone working on putting it in already? (In the catalog it still says its in progress and just links to the forum thread.)

Coniston and The Crossing by the other Winston Churchill

I'd like to suggest some of the novels by Winston Churchill -- no not the well known British PM, but an American novelist who wrote several excellent historical novels. My favorite are The Crossing and Coniston. Coniston: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/3766 The Crossing: http://www.gutenberg.org/ete...

Hehe, I always thought it was pronounced misCHEEVious, and I only just found out a couple months ago that most people (even in the US) thought it should be pronounced the other way. However, I must say misCHEEVious has been around for a very long time -- at least according to Merriam Webster: A pron...

Hi Bookworm! We discussed about that and came to the consensus that all the Bible books would be catalogued under Unknown author. There's a link to Paul on the catalogue page though. Cheers, Ezwa, thanks for the reply! I didn't see the link to Paul -- that's helpful. Having the author field as unkn...

Sam, I found your recording of Galatians this evening and I love it! I really really like that I can hear Paul's frustration and desire to explain his message by the way you read it. I'm looking forward to listening to more letters (will you read Hebrews as well)? I had one question for the cataloge...

Gutenberg Canada

Gutenberg Canada started two days ago! Under Canadian law books enter the public domain fifty years after the author's death. Therefore they have quite a lot of nice books that are unavailable in the US (and even Australia). Here is the link: http://www.gutenberg.ca/ http://www.gutenberg.ca/blogs/07...
