Actually I have a question. What's the protocol for claiming chapters or other works? Should I just reply in a thread to claim it, or should I record it first and then just link the result? I assume you're supposed to claim it and then post the file when you're done, but it looks like in some cases...

The thing that make me roll my eyes are his comments to the effect that a reading sounds "amateur." Well, yeah, that's what we (at least, most of us) are. LOL.

(Interviewer) So, LibriVox...Tell me about your family ? spouse, girl or boy friend, children, grandchildren... (LibriVox: ) Well, my (founding) Father's name is Hugh, and I have an unbelievably large extended family. Seriously, hundreds...maybe even a thousand. I've lost count. Although there are a...

Here's the link to mine, in Kara's uploader. Un-"rehearsed" and captured on the first run-through as requested...whether that's a good or bad thing remains to be seen  Still, even to a person like myself who is not especially enamored of poetry in general, how could you not love a po...

Oh, I have a brilliant Idea if I do say so m'self . . . Let's have a Random Reading featured each week. From among all the works that have not been otherwise featured, somehow a completely arbitrary reading is selected -- truly randomly. I really like this idea a lot! (Though I don't know how the s...

sorry Anita, I just don't want to think today. Want to sit back and read. Eyes glazing over  *turns brain off and plunks back in chair* umm..yeah, what she said. To illustrate the eyes glazing over part, when I read #1 above it says something about 'bells' and I could have sworn it said Taco...

I'm looking forward to hearing more suggestions myself. Though my problem is sort of the opposite...chronic congestion/frequent sinusitis which years of trying various decongestants, nasal sprays, etc. as well as tons of tests have provided no answers or relief. Added to a particularly bad summer of...
