Stav, Since I cannot upload my files for chapter 2, I must abandon the project. It takes me such a long time to get an acceptable recording, and I cannot afford to continue when I cannot send it to Librivox. I am sorry for the inconvenience, because I really enjoy the work, but it's just too frustra...

I'm trying to upload chapter 2, but the uploader will not accept my file. It says, "The file type you are attempting to upload is not allowed." I've never had trouble with files before, can you tell me what is happening?

Gail: I'm not sure what cleared up my problem. I did Clear all the Files that had been stored, and that may have done it. I had been storing files since I started recording with Librivox, so that could have been what was causing the trouble. Anyway, it seems to be working now, and hopefully will not...

Re: Audacity not saving files Tovarisch, I took your advice and was told that there were 731.9 GB of space. Isn't that enough for a 40 minute recording? It also created a temp file. Which I really don't understand. I just want to know that any future recordings will be saved, so I don't lose several...

HELP! The last time I tried recording a chapter, Audacity would not save it. I was told that it was either un-writable or that the disk was full. Does Audacity have a limited amount of space available for recording? If so, how can I get more disk space? Can I delete work that I have done before? How...

I have 6Gb RAM and have never had any trouble when I've had less. Perhaps Audacity has become corrupted, and I need to get an undated version. I'll try to work it out. Just know that I am very frustrated now, and I may not get the chapters in at a very timely rate.
