I'll take Section 29, "The Surrender of Cornwallis (1781)" - Pages 196-199

Re: [History] Great Epochs in American History, Volume III by F. W. Halsey - kiki

Alright I’ll do it all in my own voice then. Listened to Roy Dotrice (RIP) narrate GOT, so perhaps set my own expectations too high! :)

Re: [History] Great Epochs in American History, Volume III by F. W. Halsey - kiki

No one wants section 1? Seems like that'd be the one to take :) (Hint: I'll take Section 1: The Two Sieges of Louisburg (1745 anad 1758) by A.G. Bradley, Pages 3-14 ) A quick skim shows no dialog...last one I did about halfway in, realized not only was there dialog, but three of the four voices were...

Re: [FICTION]Self-Control: A Novel by Brunton - thw

Sounds good. You have 21. Welcome back. (Incidentally, no need to claim chapters in order....) Thanks, Todd I got about halfway into it and realized that in addition to Laura and Mr. De Courcy, there's also Mrs. Decourcy, and of course Lady Pelham. Being male, and not very good with British accents...

Re: [FICTION]Self-Control: A Novel by Brunton - thw

After signing up many years ago, then getting pulled away rather abruptly, I've been championing Librivx for years. Am just now finding time to return to what I had originally signed up for - contributing recordings, so am doing so here. I'll likely need to complete the One Minute Test again, but wi...

Re: [BIOGRAPHY] John Quincy Adams by John T. Morse - tg

Well, I'd have been done with the recordings by today, but still pending final approval from Tricia. Is it ok if I am delayed a week until approval is completed (I usually would do recordings on the weekends...)?

Re: [BIOGRAPHY] John Quincy Adams by John T. Morse - tg

Hi, Jason! I'm the MC for this project and see your test recording link, so I'll check it for you. Tech settings are all fine. Your volume is too low. You should aim for your wave forms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this: http://wiki.librivox.org/images/4/4d/Volume.jpg Make sure the microphone sl...
