I may need a little longer to complete my second section. My recording studio is in our guest room and we're having guests for the next few weeks so my access is a little restricted.

Ich möchte um ein wenig Verlängerung bitten. Die Rohaufnahme ist gemacht worden, aber ich komm nicht dazu, das zurecht zu schneiden. Hoffentlich kommt es noch in der kommende Woche, aber ich weiß, dass meine zwei Monate fast zu Ende sind und wollte mich höflicherweise mal kurz melden.

That sounds like the way to go. I don't want to keep everyone in suspense when I know that April or May is the earliest I could possibly even begin recording.

The news is that I have not had a second to even think of Librivox this semester. I kinda don't see any recording happening in the next few weeks either. If it is necessary to remove this project from the Librivox server, I understand. I still have the audio files and could resume later. I would hat...

i will, but i am a little out of order and havent listened to the 8th adventure yet. ill download the earlier sections after listening to the 8th adventure and see if they have the correct bit rate. im sure they will have, but it is better to double check than to see during cataloging that the file...

Carolin, Thanks for warning me about this. Apparently, something went wrong with my computer at some unknown time in the last few months. I caught it in my most recent Librivox upload (another project) but didn't know when my recording program had reset the bitrate setting. Shouldn't be hard to fix;...
