The medieval spelling at the end gave me a bit of trouble, it's likely I misinterpreted something there... Just let me know. :D

Re: OPEN[PLAYS]One Act Play Collection 011-thw

Here's the narrator for "A Day Well Spent", some 16 minutes long. No noisecleaning.

No wonder this is not going anywhere, half of the time people are talking "aside".

Re: Covermakers Chat Thread

I have linked it in the top post of the main cover thread where "public domain" is mentioned. It's not really 100% the same issue, but it does help.

Re: Why hasnt the unibomber's manifesto been done?

I don't know the technicalities of PD law, but this guy Kaczynski literally demanded that his manifesto be published or he'd set off more bombs . He originally mailed it with no copy write obviously, since he was hiding from the FBI at the time. Sounds like a really charming guy whose ideas definit...

Re: OPEN[PLAYS]One Act Play Collection 011-thw

Just an FYI: my lines for Bridges have all been recorded. I’m just waiting for the last file so I can edit them into the play. So.... you haven't been online at LV for months. And now you're kind of implying that it's MY fault this thing got stalled? Or what? Because if you do, you know, that's not...

If the book is finished, you can claim yourself - go to http://librivox.nl/claim/ login (same generic password as for the uploader), and claim away. :D

(max 2 claims per person in the list at the same time).

Re: [SOLO] Antic Hay by Aldous Huxley

Hi there and welcome!

I'm sorry, but if you are located in Europe, you will need to adhere to EU copyright as well - which extends 70 years after the author's death.

This book will be PD for everybody in Europe in January 2034.

Are you going to the main workflow page here: https://librivox.org/workflow Unfortunately, there seems to be a bug in the system: If you make any mistake logging in, it may happen that once you're getting it right, you will be redirected to the main homepage instead of to th...

Hi Ava, While I was entering the data for Tesla, I came across this absolute gem on page 702 of the February 1919 issue of the Electrical Experimenter : "Women Now Trained as Meter Readers." The article opens thus: "Can women read electric meters satisfactorily? They can." If you don't want to read...

I am recording a solo project, Bulbs and Blossoms. What do I do if I want to make my own cover? Hi Emily and welcome to the covermakers group! What Anne says holds, but let me expand a little: - As a soloist or BC of a group project, you can claim your own cover. Just come here, tell us the name of...
