Re: South Sea Tales by Jack London

LibriVox has no "queue" for projects.

What we do have is "choice of voice" - everybody is welcome to read the first, second... 11th version of any book for our catalog.

Hello! I'd like to claim section 34. I'm new and I'd like to go under NarvaezM in the LibriVox catalogue. Hi there and welcome to LV and to this project! I have assigned section 34 to you, enjoy! Here is your very own catalog page for an overview of what you have claimed/finished: https://librivox....

Do you have a sample that you could upload to "tests" and share with us?
It's hard to diagnose things without hearing them. :D

Re: Great Cycling Book

According to amazon, this was published in 2017, so no, this can not be read on librivox.

We only record books that are in the public domain - which means in general (for the US): published at least 95 years ago.

Re: The Odyssey, by Homer, translated by William Cowper

Hi there and welcome (back)! You'll probably don't want to hear this, but this is not a good project for a first-time narrator. Even experienced readers would think long and hard whether to start a project of this magnitude. Given the size of this project, it will run to around 16 hours completed au...

I will also provide you with a piece of advice for future recordings. Try to read at a slower pace, don't rush. You made no mistakes, but it was a bit hard to follow. At the same time, some of our listeners (such as myself really) don't have English as a primary language and might as well be less f...
