Re: Lay Down Your Arms - Bertha von Suttner

Changed the title of the thread - she's Bertha von Suttner.

Re: [SOLO] English and Cantonese Dictionary, by John Chalmers - availle

I know this is not the most exciting project to listen to even if you do speak the language (sorry David, probably not to record either  ) but it would be really great if we could wrap this up and get this into the catalog by the end of the year. Do you thi...

Lena, I have checked, you are indeed in the DPL spot, so that's not the problem (sometimes MCs forget to enter that into the database... ) Ideally, you should have a different password for the forum (here) and the MW. Please make sure you use the correct one. If you login to the MW the first ...

Re: In Memoriam

By sending an email to info @ librivox . org

It is manned (womaned?) by one of our admins who will take the necessary steps (like posting here, removing obsolete weblinks from the reader's page, informing BCs if there are still outstanding recordings etc.)

Re: Suggest a "Staff Pick" for archive.org

Thanks Tricia! I needed a bit of time to think of a new theme for next year  The staff has picked for December! Please have a look at this page for the current list. You can also check out our wiki page for a plain vanilla list that contains all the staff picks for this year plus the readers! ...

That's okay!

I have changed the first post of this thread to reflect this. I think it would still be nice to record many new languages, but this will probably be a very, very, very slow project then...

Thanks for your recording, Jenny, I've entered it into the MW. Please stick around and wait for the comments from aniroo, our DPL, who will listen to your file. I'm glad you liked the experience, there's much more where this came from... I've checked your website, but... umm... You see, usual...
