The truth is revealed by the Marion Daily Star for 13 April 1911:
Peck was born in 1856 and died in 1914.It developed in a lawsuit that “Lyndon Orr,” who writes so entertainingly, and perhaps truthfully, about “the great affinities of history,” is really Professor Harry Thurston Peck.
