This sounds so interesting! I was a huge fan of the Encyclopedia Brown, the Great Brain, and the Alfred Hitchcock Three Investigators books as a kid, and this sounds like some sort of combo of all 3 of them crossed with Tom Sawyer. I am pretty booked up with projects at the moment but I will be kee...

Re: [Group] (Juvenile Adventure) The Red Runners by Seckatary Hawkins - m8b1

It is good to be enthusiastic, but I see you have claimed a lot more sections as well ~ and that is a lot to take on for a new reader! It is best to start a little smaller, and work your way up! You do...

Re: Seckatary Hawkins books by Robert Schulkers

Actually, the "Seckatary Hawkins in Cuba" was originally published in 1921. I have seen the later date as well, but I have a copy and it says 1921. Chronologically it comes before "The Red Runners".

The problem is finding scans. Hathi does have one that will be PD next year.

Re: Seckatary Hawkins books by Robert Schulkers

Well, almost 10 years on, I decided to actually do one as a group project: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=80412

(And after all those years, I still remembered that I posted this as a suggestion... )
