Wow, Kristin, you're fast! I'm impressed... I can't wait for this book to be added to the collection.

Re: ~Silver Chimes in Syria: Glimpses of a Missionary's Experiences by William S. Nelson - icequeen

Hi, All,

I'm orry I can't participate in this project; I've been going through some unpleasant health challenges of my own. However, it looks fascinating, and I can't wait to read it when it is completed. I'm cheering you on from the sidelines!

Joyfully,

Nicole

Re: ~Solo The Children's Tabernacle;/Hand Work and Heart Work-ans

Kristin, First of all, thank you so much for being willing to complete this project! It really means a lot to me. I agree that the short stories don't fit with this project, but they certainly are worth reading. I look forward to seeing what you do with them, and to seeing this project completed. Si...

Re: Solo The Children's Tabernacle;/Hand Work and Heart Work-ans

Rachel and Ann, This project is very close to my heart, and I have been reluctant to relinquish it. However, Bible college and other events have kept me from working on this book for over a year. I would far rather see it adopted by people who can record more efficiently than to see it languish in t...

Re: [Complete]Lotus Buds by Amy Carmichael - dlo

To All Who Worked on This Project: When you first began, I had planned to take at least one section and was absolutely thrilled by the chapter I had selected. However, medical difficulties soon intervened and I was unable to record my chapter. I was looking forward to its completion, though, and hav...

Re: Solo The Children's Tabernacle;/Hand Work and Heart Work-ans

Rachel, I don't know what happened, because I had attempted to submit a fully-edited file the first time, but the one I've reuploaded should be free of errors. Let me know whether this is the case. Meanwhile, I hope to submit another chapter soon. Meanwhile, may the Lord bless you as you celebrate H...

Re: Solo The Children's Tabernacle;/Hand Work and Heart Work-ans

Hi, Ann, Isn't it ironic how things work out? I was actually thinking, not twenty-four hours ago, about how I need to get back on this project! I'm hoping to have some time for editing and recording in the upcoming weeks. My most available days are Fridays, so if I haven't done anything by then, pos...

Re: Would You Rather... - The game of Icky fun! [FORUM GAME]

I'd rather wake up early knowing I'll need an afternoon nap and then, when things settle down and I could have taken that rest, be so excited that sleep was out of the question! For the rest of your life, would you rather be able to only eat a few bites of your favorite foods each dday--just enough ...

Re: Solo The Children's Tabernacle;/Hand Work and Heart Work

Oh, Rachel...

I can't believe it! That must have been painful to your ears! But, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. I'll work on edits for this one and record Chapters 12-13 as soon as I'm done with the online class I'm taking.

God Bless and Merry Christmas,

Nicole

Re: Would You Rather... - The game of Icky fun! [FORUM GAME]

Even though I already run cold, I'd rather stand outside with no jacket in below-freezing temperatures. Imagine the hot-cocoa-and-fireplace coziness that would ensue after those ten minutes! Would you rather be taught something you'd always wanted to learn by someone you really didn't like or agree ...

Re: Would You Rather... - The game of Icky fun! [FORUM GAME]

Me, too! I really can remember most everything, and I wouldn't trade it for the world, despite the pain. Suppose you were really quite average at something, such as singing, but you absolutely loved it. Suppose, too, that you were excellent at something else, such as painting, and everyone around yo...

Id rather have a constant urge to sneeze. Hiccups are painful!

Would you rather remember EVERYTHING that had ever happened to you, including any unpleasant books you read, and any less-than-joyous memories... Or forget everything, including every beautiful moment?

Re: Solo The Children's Tabernacle;/Hand Work and Heart Work

At long last, Chapter XI is ready for PL! Sadly, I recently discovered that a crash stole Chapters XII and XIII, so I will need to re-record them before continuing with editing. Hopefully soon!

Re: SOLO What's Mine's Mine by George MacDonald -ck

Chapter 7 PL Notes: 1:06--1:13: Repeat Although, I must say, Hannah, even your repeat sounded poetic! Mine always come out jerky, clunky, stumbling four or five times before I get them right... Yours just sounded like you decided to play the last two lines of a song a few times for good measure, rat...
