Newbie on the loose

Hello! I've listened to a few LibriVox recordings and got my sisters hooked, and I decided I might help...

I live in New Jersey, but am French, so I hope I can help in both languages.

About actually recording stuff, my computer has a relatively good-sounding integrated speaker, can I use it?
