Re: [Fortnightly Poem] Dusk in the Woods by Madison Cawein - dl

Thank you for the advice! i suppose Joseph C would be fine, or are full names preferred more? Pseudonyms and shortened names are also perfectly OK! We've got you in now as 'Joseph C'. You can see your new catalog page by clicking your forum name in the Magic Window, and here it is for conv...

Re: Including reader's name in the MP3 tags

I think the initial question was whether there was an easy way to do this, and... I suppose that could depend who you are. If the index number stays the same when other database changes are made, that link would always be valid as long as librivox keeps their same URL format, and it if a liste...

Re: Including reader's name in the MP3 tags

If you'd like to help with automating fixes for MP3 files, using PHP, I'd be glad to talk details elsewhere... but putting reader names in ID3 tags is probably a non-starter because it makes for a more brittle system. ID3 tags may as well be permanent, for all the work it would take to change them o...

Re: DR Scene & Story Collection 5 - rr

Thank you.

Here's a reminder that The Woggle-Bug Book does not have a Book Coordinator. If we don't have one for it by this weekend, I'll save a copy of all the work that's gone in so far, and we'll shelve it for a possible future collection, if there is interest.

I've moved a couple of "role-claiming" posts over to the DR Suggestions thread. This thread is just for BCs.

Re: Voiceover Artists Recruitment, Text-to-Speech Product

I see, thank you for being so candid. I'm going to leave it at this for now, and wiser heads than mine will decide if this ought to stay on our forum. I think some of our readers might be interested, but there are also other places to recruit for gig-work voice-overs. In any case, I wish you the bes...

Re: Voiceover Artists Recruitment, Text-to-Speech Product

Hello Tony, I've moved this thread to the Off-Topic forum, as it doesn't relate directly to our mission of making all Public Domain works available in human-read audio form. Other admins might make or request further changes. We often allow other non-commercial projects to ask for volunteers, but we...
