Thank a reader -- in person????

The other night, I was at a local convenience store, when the cashier told me he really liked my recording of Celephais. I was floored -- online and offline are not supposed to collide like that! :-)

(Apparently it was a combination of voice and work nametag that clued him in.)

Re: [Fortnightly Poetry] One and Two by Will Carleton - dl

Here's mine at 2:20: http://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/oneandtwo_carleton_gsf_128kb.mp3

There's a bit of clipping -- a couple of my initial consonants do a good imitation of hitting the mike. Let me know if you think it's too much, and I'll try again.

Re: [Weekly Poetry] The Garden of Love by William Blake - dl

Here's my version, duration 1 minute. I tagged it with Blake instead of Herrick, though - is that a leftover from last week?

Re: [WEEKLY POETRY] The Taxi by Amy Lowell - dii

Here's mine, at 49.3 seconds: http://librivox.org/uploads/dii/taxi_lowell_gsf_128kb.mp3 I'm using my daughter's Rosetta Stone headset, instead of the older mike I used to use, and it's been a long time since my last upload, so I'd appreciate feedback on the tech aspects, if nothing else. :-) Thanks...

Act1:1 @ 0:28 there is a mic-being-hit noise you may want to fix.
Actually, listening to that again, I think that was more a snort of some kind than a mic noise.

My 10-year-old daughter would like to take a swing at the Prince of Wales, but she's not sure if she'll be able to handle it. Can you assign it to me for the moment, and we'll go over it tonight to see if it's manageable? Thanks. Edit: oh, well. Getting up on stage isn't a problem, but reading a boy...

I'm almost afraid to try to mess with it -- how badly do you want it fixed?

Sumer is icumen in

You have a typo in the ID3 tags. :-)

In any case, here's my version. I amplified it and trimmed out a couple of clicks, but couldn't find my daughter's headphones to do a proper check.
