Re: ~(Editing) [DR] The Third Violet by Stephen Crane - thw

And so do I! Now that I've done some more PLing of dramatic readings, I believe there's nothing actually wrong in my doing a final PL of a chapter that I read for. Let me know if you disagree. In that spirit, and since I now also have access to the MW, I've circled back and tackled Chapter 5, which ...

Re: SOLO - Ursula by Honoré de Balzac - dc

Chapter 1 is ready for PL. This chapter had quite a number of little textual errors in the Gutenberg version of the text. I've fixed them in the usual way; i.e., checking the Gutenberg text against the photo version of the book, available at archive.org. Fortunately, as far as I can see, subsequent...

https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_jakeduff.mp3 I used Audacity. With a usb mic on a windows computer. -Thanks Welcome to Librivox, Jake! You have a lively, animated voice and your technical specs are all correct. However, I do notice that there are some plosives (pops) on your p sounds, and s...

Do you have a reader already for the woman's part? If not, I'd like to volunteer. Cheers, Winnifred, I have inquired of someone else about the wife's part. I appreciate your volunteering and I will know in a day or so if your kind offer can be accepted. In fact, I'm still double checking how I need...

Re: Trying to do my first recording and I am lost

Thank you Anne, I've actually figured out part of what is wrong. I was making it more complicated that it is. The file opens in Chrome, as well as Quicktime. The file name can be changed there. I will just finish recording the rest and submit it and edit the volume later if it needs it. Thanks for ...

Winnifred - I forgot to ask you to read Atom City cab driver and John Bailey read by Winnifred Assmann. as a single line for the credits. You say "and" in the cabbie lines, but that's in your cabbie voice, so I can't steal that to splice the credit lines together. My error! Could you subm...

And here is the first chapter from the Narrator to get things started! https://librivox.org/uploads/kilteddragon/fivelittlepeppers_narrator_1.mp3 (13:32) There was a contradiction between the instructions in the first post and the language in the script for the intro ("Act #" in the first ...

Here's board member #2 for Oliver Twist: https://librivox.org/uploads/redrun/drcollection5_olivertwist_board2.mp3 (1:05) The volume is slightly too high, but I didn't apply any of the processing I would usually, as I thought that would leave Rapunzelina more flexibility when it comes to combining th...

Chapter 17 (18:38) ready for spot PL. https://librivox.org/uploads/kilteddragon/casewithninesolutions_17_connington_128kb.mp3 Howard Ah, you've left in the word "head." The phrase in the text is "He shook her gently," without the word "head." Do you want to fix that? I...
