Do we need to insert a marker before each of our character's recordings? .... the previous sentence, for example ... to make it easier for the poor editors to identify? After all, the butler says "Yes, Sir" at least twice with, as I read it, different intonations, so it'd be a help to know...

I found the same thing with the poem Abou ben Adhem ... I've no idea why; it just touched something in me. I got round it by reading it again and again before final recording ... desensitisation.

Cori mentioned this site in a DP forum. I've always liked reading aloud, though I'm more likely to be reading non-fiction, as I certainly don't trust my ability to assign individual voices to the characters in fiction! ... though I do love reading Terry Practchett aloud, complete with personalities ...
