I'd like to PL the first section.
I'll download it now and post again tomorrow. I see you've chosen word perfect PL so I'll note any deviation from the text

Sounds like an interesting story :)

Is any Proof listening needed for any files in this project? Sounds like fun, so if any story needs listening, I can oblige.

I've proof listened to three more short files. All are fine.

Book 1, chapter 5 is OK

Book 1, chapter 7 is OK

Book 2 Chapter 15, read by Sibella, is OK.

I'll listen to a couple more tomorrow, if they are available. :)

Cheers,
Betty

I've proof listened to two more files. Book 1 Chapter 3 file is fine. Book 2 Chapter 1. read by d e wittkower has one glitch. At 1:38 the reader says. “the least presence to be the eldest house,” while the text says “the least pretence to be the eldest house..." I also tried to listen to Book 1...

I've proof listened to the preface and Chapter one. Both files are error free and are ready for whatever comes next. :)

I'm ready to listen to another short chapter.

I just proof listened to "The Philosophy of Composition by Edgar Allan Poe" read by Leon and there's only one small error At 19:22 the reader omits the phrase “at the end” The text reads thus:" Here then the poem may be said to have its beginning—at the end, where all works of art sho...

I listened to the final two parts, 5 and 6 read by ChrisK03 and both are fine, I heard no mistakes that need fixing.

I enjoyed my first attempts at proof listening a lot. Thanks to everybody involved in this project. :)

Thank you. I did have time to listen to Adventure 4 as well. A couple of very small glitches in this part. Whether these should be even fixed will be up to more experienced people. Starting at 10:11 the reader, Swimmi, says “Eventually, she had her own tastes as to her riders, and much preferred lit...

Hi. I'm a new poster and I wanted to try my hand or ear at proof listening. I downloaded the third section, read by Ted N. There's one section that does need editing: At 24:08 the reader repeats the phrase: “but a whole fleet of ducklings, sailing out from the roots of an old willow-tree,” Other tha...

Yes indeed. New Hampshire is one of the six states that comprise New England.
I'm in Massachusetts, though. But we have tons of British city and town names here.

Thanks for the welcome. :)

Hi there from New England

I discovered Librivox not that long ago and I may be hooked already. This is a wonderful place for a booklover like me... Besides reading, I do some writing (mostly poetry and some short fiction) Also, I've done a little editing and proofreading for a good friend. I'm also a Boston Red Sox fan. I'm ...
