Yes - the plural sounded weird to me - I guess because I've never used it before.

Summary

Also a new summary, for the catalogue (exciting thought!): Two short fragments: an unfinished and a lost play. A Florentine Tragedy , left in a taxi (not a handbag), is Wilde’s most successful attempt at tragedy – intense and domestic, with surprising depth of characterisation. It was adapted into a...

Ruth, you star, you! It sounds wonderful! Thank you so much.

Everyone enjoy the (slightly extended) interval before the curtain rises on Florentine Tragedy.

Thanks again, Ruth

Hi asy,

Sorry about this, but I haven't been able to find time to record anything for Librivox over the last few months and am not going to be available again for another few months at least. This means unfortunately I won't be able to record the part of Gratiano.

Sorry again,

Simon

Hi everyone, Just a quick message to keep you updated. La Sainte Courtesane is fully recorded - thanks again for your excellent work. But as you can see it's nearly 4th January and I'm afraid I haven't had time to record my part. I'm still intending on recording but won't have chance to do so now un...

Good point - do we have any 'official' guide to Russian pronounciation? I know for The Proposal Ruthie asked in the Advice forum and Kikisaulite very very very kindly recorded us an mp3 with all the names in. Just an idea. If not, I'll blunder on and Anglicize them all! Although actually the names i...

tiny tiny tiny!

Just a reminder - keep important stuff in the message itself - as you can see from *above* the subject is tiny and tends to get missed. We have two claims on Oedpius: englishlit+dramaAlevel and FrZeile!

Just to say - I have no German I'm afraid, so I'll stick to English! - how great it is to see some Strindberg on Librivox. A truly brilliant dramatist. Can't say strongly enough how highly I rate him. Yes. Hooray for Strindberg! Good work!

All the best with the project,

Simon :)
