Sorry to have to do this at this late date, but I need to relinquish Chapter 3.

I've tried for days to do this reading, but I can't get into it enough to sound convincing. The performance simply isn't there, and I don't want to hold up the project more than I already have.

If you're looking to do voiceover or narration work professionally, then I'd recommend a XLR microphone and an interface.

A good starter mic would be the Audio Technica AT2020 (Amazon link).
Likewise, a good starter interface would be the Focusrite Scarlett Solo (Amazon link).
