Re: Humor: Ask Mamma by Robert Smith Surtees - rap

Hi, guys! I signed up for some chapters and went over 90 days to finish them. I am so sorry about that, but I was sick for much of the summer and not really able to read out loud. I would very much like to work on this project some more, now that I'm feeling recovered. Could you please sign me up fo...

Re: Humor: Ask Mamma by Robert Smith Surtees - rap

No pressure, but I just wanted to mention that I'm a little hesitant to move on until someone gives me feedback on Chapter 22. I was nervous about the dialogue because I don't know if I'm reading the characters anything like the other readers.

Chapter 22:

duration: 17:30 (17:29.97, to be precise :D )

Frankly, this is kind of a tough out-loud read, lol.

Oh, thank you. I've only read two things so far, so I didn't know how creative I could be with it.

Re: Humor: Ask Mamma by Robert Smith Surtees - rap

Hi, it looks like a load of chapters aren't assigned. I'd be happy to try chapters 22 - 27, if there are no other plans for them, or a different group of five or six chapters.

Re: [Open] Short Science Fiction Collection 079-ag

I have a question that I haven't seen yet: how do I deal with a person singing in the story I want to read?

Hope this helps!

Colleen
Thank you for the long, short, and very short answers! All were very helpful.

Re: [Open] Short Science Fiction Collection 079-ag

Hello :) I really want to record The Eyes Have It, by Philip K. Dick at https://www.gutenberg.org/files/31516/31516-h/31516-h.htm
but I am confused about the public domain issue. If the author was born in 1928, then how can this be in the public domain? Please advise!

Edit: I read about the checker after the first time I uploaded this file, so I ended up re-uploading it at the correct volume. At least, I hope I got it right, the link is exactly the same.

Hello from NC!

Hi, I am a mom of two boys to whom I read out loud for most of their lives. I finally stopped when my older was 14. Now that they consider themselves too old for this, I really miss doing it! My older son and I both have low vision, and reading print can be difficult. This is the main reason that I'...
