Re: [SOLO] The Freedom of the Will by Jonathan Edwards - tg

Greetings - I truly regret having to do this but I need to be relieved of my DPL duties for this project. 28 days from now I will be in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, at a Camporee of 50,000 Pathfinders (scouts) from around the world and I am leading out in getting 37 of them there from Portland on a train. Li...

Re: [GRP] The Luggage of Life-FW Boreham d. 1959 - mas

Greetings -

Section 2 has been added to the list of PL OK readings. Nicely read, easy to listen to.

I love the variety that PLing provides. The tale of Buster Bear one evening, the meaningfulness of F. W. Boreham the next morning.

Greetings -

TiffanyHolmes has finished her sections and all of them are PL OK with just one exception.

Chapter 27 needs its audio level boosted so it is within the acceptable range.

Nicely done, all of you readers.

Re: [CHILDREN] Little Jack Rabbit and the Squirrel Brothers by David Cory - icequeen

Greetings -

Chapters 23-26 were well read but, alas, they have a slight problem.

The four chapters have a sound level that is a bit below the acceptable range and need to have it boosted.

Otherwise, PL OK.

Re: [CHILDREN] Little Jack Rabbit and the Squirrel Brothers by David Cory - icequeen

Greetings - Chapter 15 is now shown as PL OK. Chapter 17 was nicely read and sung, but has a couple of concerns. Time: 01:10 Text has "These cool November days." Reading sounds like "fall" instead of "cool". Time: 01:48 Text has "Or from the shivering half-clad trees". Reading has "tops of" instead ...

Re: [CHILDREN] Little Jack Rabbit and the Squirrel Brothers by David Cory - icequeen

Greetings - It's a bummer when life gets in the way of important stuff like DPLing. Chapters 7, 8, and 9 were very nicely read with only one thing that needs attention. Chapter 7 Time: 02:20 Text has: "it over. It didn't take him long". Reading has a repeat of "It didn't". Other than that, all are P...

I guess I am a bit confused.

Do we need a different source from the one originally given in the intro?

Re: [GRP] The Luggage of Life-FW Boreham d. 1959 - mas

Greetings - Section 5 notes: Well read with an easy-to-listen-to voice. A couple of notes: Time: 11:03 Text has: " No Christian knows what Christianity really means until he has experienced such days" Reading omits "knows what Christianity really means until he has" Reading needs five seconds of sil...

Re: [GRP] The Luggage of Life-FW Boreham d. 1959 - mas

Greetings - johnb2 has done an excellent job of reading Section 4 of this interesting book with just one possible concern: Time: 04:01 Text has: "where he sets over the Delphian cliffs (a gold that no thief can steal)" The word "Delphian" is pronounced "Delphinian". Not sure if it needs to be change...
