Re: ~[SOLO] Yugoslav Proverbs, Emanuel Haldeman-Julius, Ed.

I guess the question is, are proverbs considered to be nonfiction or poetry? :hmm:

There's no collection for poetry (other than individual poems), but there is for nonfiction pieces. I guess that's the big difference - and the question at hand.

Next chapter's up.
Yes, definitely of the holiness persuasion, with what was said about the righteousness of the Pharisees.

Several mentions of Pansy. Apparently she and her husband boarded in their cottage at Ocean Grove that summer.

8:08 - "No Popery in England!" seems to have part of "in" cut off. Take a listen and see what you think.

No worries about the pace. :)

Katie's response is good. That's about all I would suggest: when you export, a window pops up to allow you to change the file name and choose where to export it. You can see where it's going or change where it's going. :)

Re: Hello from New Hampshire - need advice/help with existing project

Welcome! There are a couple considerations here: (1) Text source. The text you record from needs to be clearly out of copyright in the USA. (2) Tech settings. We need certain tech settings for the files (bit rate 128 kbps constant, sample rate 44.1 kHz, mono (1 channel), about 89 dB / -19 LUFS [I th...

Thanks!

Section 2:

0:17 - "Section 2" - please say "Chapter 2" instead.

There's some fairly loud background noise through the first half or so. It sounds like people opening bags or something in the same room. Please try to record in a quiet environment as much as possible. :)

Re: SOLO: From Baca to Beulah by Jennie Smith - tg

Next chapter's up. About half of it is a rehash of the previous chapter, from the doctor's POV. It's hard to differentiate "an odd silence" from "an awed silence" in speech! (I don't remember the exact phrase, but it was definitely "odd" vs. "awed". In the tex...

OK, it's there now; the other file formats have to re-derive.
