Re: Audacity start and stop lines on my track

Yeah, I just click the line to make it disappear, but I usually only have a couple.

And you can also just pause, rather than stop-and-start or let the thing keep recording. 8-) I think it's P on the keyboard? That's what I do. :)

A nice, short chapter 21 is up.

Still waiting for her to get home to her mother, who still hasn't seen her on her feet!

[GRP/WRITING] The Writing of Fiction by Edith Wharton - tg

The Writing of Fiction, by Edith Wharton (1862 - 1937) This is a solo that had major issues with the original files, and the reader is unable to redo them. So we're turning it into a group project. Practical suggestions on how to get started writing fiction with liberal references to Arthur Quiller...

Could I take Chapter 13 please? Sure! I'll put you in. How do you want to appear in the catalog? You can use your forum name, real name, or a pseudonym. I suggest whatever you say if you ever say "read by..." in your recordings, so that listeners can look for you. 8-) We suggest doing the...

It was me.

Above, on April 17, you said that 18 and 19 were PL OK, so I thought you just forgot to mark them as such. So I changed them to PL OK.

Re: Searching for a poem titled "Will"

There's a 1986 edition on Archive: https://archive.org/details/literaturehumane2051222abca

but I don't find a poem titled "Will" in there. The other editions on Archive are all later.

Re: getting rid of static

I suggest uploading a sample of your static. That will help us determine the source.

Posting blindly, often static is due to electrical interference of some sort. Move your mic cables away from any power cords, and possibly shut off any electrical things you don't need while recording.

Next chapter is up.

I'm ready to be done with these long chapters! I think this is the last one that should be over 30 minutes.
