Sorry about the noise. It's got to be frustrating to be able (physically) and willing to record, but not be able to. I'm the LV Memory Keeper, am I? Ha! (I'm trying to remember what the indigenous communities around here call the elders who remember everything. "Memory keeper" isn't quite ...

Re: [CHRISTIAN BIO] The Autobiography of Charles H. Spurgeon, Volume 1 - tg
I did a web search on "CVS file" and only got CSV files (comma-separated text files).
However, I found this in the uploader: https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/autobiography1,section3,spurgeon,128,mp3.mp3
It sounds like a whole bunch of people talking at once.

In this case, since the blip is at the end of the recording, you could just delete from it until the end and re-record that portion (along with the 5 seconds end silence). So yes. For in other parts of the recording, you can set your "cursor" (the vertical line that shows where you are in ...

Re: How to avoid the "I'm reading" voice
I've got a reading voice, and it's worse on nonfiction. When you're reading a narrative, you can better sound like you're telling the story; but some nonfiction is just not able to be dramatized.
So, I have no suggestions, only sympathy.

What are your intentions for the group project you posted? (I've moved it off the public forum for now because of this post, but can move it back if needed.)

Re: [CHRISTIAN BIO] The Autobiography of Charles H. Spurgeon, Volume 1 - tg
I have attempted unsuccessfully to upload my recording of section 3 of the Autobiography of Charles Spurgeon several times but keep getting a message saying "error" and indicating the file type is not correct. To the best of my knowledge I am using the same mp.3 file as was used on my tes...
