Re: Test Complete

Eric - I merged your two threads together. Hmm. Your recording is too quiet now, and the sound isn't as good. What noise removal settings did you use? Your noise seems to mostly be in the lowest tones, so rather than an aggressive noise removal, I'd suggest doing a high pass filter instead. (A High ...

Re: Quick Question about a London Address [ANSWERED]

Well, I said "west", so Londoners will have to cringe through it. LOL! But maybe this will help others in future. :)

Re: [GRP/FIC] It Is Never Too Late to Mend by Charles Reade - tg

At the very beginning, where you say "Chapter 52 of ..." Would you add "part 2" before the book title? That way when a listener is audio-paging through the files, they know within a second or two that they're on the 2nd half of the chapter. :) That's it! Great reading, as always. (Funny - I think th...

Re: Audacity won't record sound in Win 7

Re: Audacity won't record sound in Win 7

I'm on Win 7 and it works, so it's not a universal issue. :) If the mic works in another program as you say, then its drivers should all be OK for Audacity, too. :hmm: Dumb question: Is the mic slider in the Audacity window all the way down? If so, move it up. Here's the Audacity FAQ about getting n...

Re: ~[Solo] With Moore at Corunna by G. A. Henty - tg

Please use the file naming scheme set up in the first post: withmooreatcorunna_##_henty_128kb

The preface should be withmooreatcorunna_00_henty_128kb.mp3

This keeps all files organized and self-explanatory throughout the recording and cataloging process. :)

Don't forget to put section titles in the Magic Window. I assume they'll be the Bible book names?
