Re: HELP ME TO SET UP MY LAPTOP PLEASE
Unrelated to LibriVox, I encountered a computer once where only apps from the Microsoft Store were permitted to be installed. There was some sort of setting in Windows about this. If that's the issue you're running into, then try this: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/cant-insta...

Re: Some Books that Aren't in the Public Domain (and why)
I am brand new here and in the process of reading everything but I haven't come across anything that states if we can read books that have only been reprinted not written again by another author making it absent in the Public domain? Maybe it's in here and I am sorry for taking up your time, I just...

The way you're proposing reading the table sounds fine to me.
Footnotes are at your discretion. You could leave it out altogether if you want, or, as you say, you can move it to the end of the sentence if you like that best.

Thank you! I should be able to proof-listen tomorrow.
Interesting that the one with 100 more words is 20 seconds shorter. It all depends on the type of text (dialogue, straight reading, whatever lends itself better to faster or slower reading)!

TWO chapters up! I started with the end of the previous chapter just for comparison. Yeah, it sounds a bit stuffy (sinus) but not all that bad. I don't think the listener will be distracted for long. Interesting. Not that it matters much, but it wasn't really a stuffiness that I was experiencing. It...
