Re: [PULP/CRIME] The Yellow Claw by Sax Rohmer - tg

Thanks! The text reading itself is OK; there are just two minor things to fix:

- About 2 seconds of silence at start; should only be between 0.5-1 second.

- Please name the file with Arabic numerals: yellowclaw_11_rohmer_128kb

Re: [GRP/PSYCHOLOGY] On the Witness Stand, by Hugo Münsterberg - tg

Very interesting!

I'm tempted to post the question on Facebook as to how big the moon is, and see what objects my friends and family come up with.

(Oh, and section 2 is PL OK!)

Re: [waiting for test etc][Solo] Little Women

Nan - This project isn't a go. The reader hasn't been back yet to fix the tech problems with their recording. And even if this were a go, you can still do yours if you want. Actually, I see yours is already in progress, with sections uploaded. No, don't withdraw now, unless you don't want to record ...

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/christianity-and-liberalism-by-john-gresham-machen/

I'll have to listen to the last chapters. I agree - the ones I listened to were very good, and so much of it still applies today.

Section 28 PL OK! Section 12 PL OK, but one word on pronunciation for future recordings: 4:47, 7:22 - "They were a legitimate perquisite " / "I do not refer to perquisites " - this is PER-qui-zit, not pre-REQ-ui-zit. :) Perquisite: an expected benefit from a job (such as a maid receiving the lady's ...

Okay, sounds good.

Perhaps in future, you could post in the thread when there's activity - or at least some of the activity, such as "3 more people signed up for sections" so that the thread doesn't sink to the bottom of my "threads of MC projects" list. ;)

Re: Where can I find my project to upload the audio files?

You filled in the form, but I don't see that you posted it anywhere. Just like the uploader, if you don't copy/paste the resulting information into the forum somewhere, no one will know it's there. :) See here for instructions on how to start a solo project: https://forum.librivox.org/viewtopic.php?...
