Re: Solo: The Juvenile Bible - tg

There's definitely a degradation of quality, and perhaps too aggressive noise removal? What I most noticed were: weird noise at about 0:07 ("recorded by jaykitty76" and just after) 1:33-ish "boards, curtains, bars are wrought" - weird noise More noises periodically from about 1:38 or so to the end I...

Re: Link to online text:"Elegiac Sonnets and Other Poems"

Wait - I've found a good link in the IA Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20030605085534/http://www.lib.ucdavis.edu/English/BWRP/Works/SmitCElegi.htm

Not sure if I can link to it on the catalog page or not. Stay tuned...

Original link: http://digital.lib.ucdavis.edu/projects/bwrp/Works/SmitCElegi.htm

I can't find it on the same site. I've found scans at Archive, but they don't seem to contain all the poems (sonnets 49-59). I'll add these texts to the catalog page anyway, as a stopgap.

Re: Play Suggestions

I posted in the Launch Pad - "Six Characters" has been done off a 1922 scan.

The other two plays from "Three Plays" haven't been done: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/42148

I use LV to escape from housework. Thing is, it still needs doing when I leave my Happy Place.

Re: ~[PLAY] Six Characters in Search of an Author

Just double checking: you're aware this is in the catalog already (from 2011), correct? It's OK to do another version, but wanted to make sure you knew this would be version 2. :)

Re: Test Complete

Eric - I merged your two threads together. Hmm. Your recording is too quiet now, and the sound isn't as good. What noise removal settings did you use? Your noise seems to mostly be in the lowest tones, so rather than an aggressive noise removal, I'd suggest doing a high pass filter instead. (A High ...
