Yeah, like the Puritans' code: "Profane no Divine ordinance. Touch no State matters. Urge no healths. Pick no quarrels. Encourage no vice. Repeat no grievances. Reveal no secrets. Maintain no ill opinions. Make no comparisons. Keep no bad company. Make no long meals. Lay no wagers."

Re: Audacity Error
Stab in the dark here: I wonder if this isn't a memory issue, but an actual space within the track issue.
Go into Preferences / Tracks / Tracks behaviors. Is the box "Editing a clip can move other clips" checked? If not, check it.
EDIT: Barleyguy beat me to it.

Re: [SOLO] Old Times in the Colonies, Charles Carleton Coffin - tg
5:24 - "'I will lend you money and obtain ships,' he said, thinking the while..." - "he said" is missing. It has ""'I will lend you money and obtain ships,' thinking the while..." (This might be confusing for the listener, not knowing the quote ended, but your voic...

Re: [GROUP] A Patriotic Schoolgirl, by Angela Brazil
Just yesterday there was a new group project posted for an Angela Brazil book. It makes sense to not have two similar books, by the same author, running at the same time. It dilutes the reader pool for both projects, leading to both of them taking longer than if they were run separately. Do you stil...

Re: [COOKING] Modern Domestic Cookery by WA Henderson - tg
By the way, does anyone know what is meant by a salamander in this context(chapter 36 mentions it)? 4: an article used in connection with fire: such as a: a cooking utensil for browning a food (such as pastry or pudding) b: a portable stove c: a cooking device with an overhead heat source like a br...
