Re: Bumper Stickers, Posters

People have made promotional material art files and shared them in the wiki: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Promotional_Material If someone wants to print up some items and sell them on Etsy, etc., they're welcome to do so! ( We are "LibriVox", so one of "us" would need to be the supplier...

Re: Copyright Issues - Can I Narrate This Book?

Should be DIED after 1954. So it's still under copyright in Australia.
In this case Hamblin died in 1958, so his work is still protected by copyright in countries with death plus 70 (including Australia) until 2028.

Awww! Glad I could accommodate.

Another chapter is uploading now, and I've got one more I've recorded but haven't edited yet. I'd recommend saving these two to listen to together, or you'll be left on a bit of a ledge (not really a cliffhanger, but just a little ledge). ;)

Re: 1 Minute Test

It sounds much better than the first one. (I didn't hear the second one.) The volume is too low on this one. Try moving the mic slider up a full notch, maybe a little more. Re: Community Podcast: LibriVox During the Pandemic

Upload the finished podcast to the same folder, then PM me the link. Also, we'll need the "show notes" (example here - the top part). I will take it from there. :)

Section 7:

0:17 - need to say "Stickeen Part 1, by John Muir" before the start of the story.

11:00 - "cliffs, as high as Yosemite" - FYI, this is pronounced Yo-SEM-i-tee. :)

Please amplify the recording by 3 dB.

Re: SOLO The Double: A Petersburg Poem by Fyodor Dostoevsky

Two comments: (1) There's a version of this already in the catalog. You are certainly still welcome to record it, but some readers prefer to not record something that has been done already, so I thought I'd mention it. (2) I'm leery of this text source. It does not say anything about the edition use...
