Re: [OPEN] Children's Short Works, Volume 42 - m8b1

Sorry, Maria––my mistake. Ah, sorry to hear they are still under copyright. That would have been fun.

Re: [OPEN] Children's Short Works, Volume 42 - m8b1

Hi Dessa,

Can you tell me if the Jack tales have been recorded here? Specifically, Jack in the Giant's Newground? They were originally written down by Richard Chase, I believe. Some of them also recorded by him years ago.

Thanks!

That excellent! Thanks, Rapunzelina.
By the way, why was the Librivox site down yesterday? Was there a hack?
All best,
Paul

Re: OPEN Short Poetry Collection 209 - rap

Hi Rapunzelina, I know you likely already have these poems by Edna St Vincent Millay, but I couldn't turn down the opportunity to record them, anyway. Hope you can eventually find a place for them. Oooh, your reading is nice and spooky! My hair stood on end at that last sentence! Your recording is in the Magic Window marked PL OK! And I've also added your URL on your Reader Page, here: https://librivox.org/reader/15103 Many thanks, Rapunzelina! Wow, and I've got my own page! Very cool, that is.

Re: OPEN Ghost and Horror Story Collection Vol. 045 - rap

Hi Rapunzelina, I'm just posting The Thing at Nolan by Ambrose Bierce, my second Bierce reading, and I have to say I'm really enjoying reading them. I hope this one is a bit better than my first, especially from a dramatic standpoint. https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/walkingoliver0202_thinga...

Oh, apologies! I really thought I had it exported in mono. Let me re-export and upload again.

Re: Hi from southeast England

Hi Phil, Thanks for the welcome, and the kind words. The videos and forum links so far have been extremely helpful, and well organized. I'm already very impressed with the set-up. I'm preparing my 1 Minute Recording, and think I might like to start with one of the short ghost stories listed in the f...

Hi from southeast England

Hi Everyone, I'm an ex-pat American who moved to southern England in 1997. I'm a professional singer, composer and teacher, and have been a life-long reader. Since I have my own home recording studio I have often thought of trying to combine my passions, and learn how to record audiobooks. I've know...
