Re: [TRAVEL] The Turkish Embassy Letters by Lady Mary Wortley Montagu -jo

It looks like this book is about to be completed. I have a random question - is there a way I can change my reader page name? I think right now it's under my forum username but I'd like it to be my full name as shown in my signature here. Sorry, I'm pretty new here and I haven't really looked into h...

Re: [SOLO] The Home-Maker by Dorothy Canfield Fisher - dc

Section 3 complete, link in MW (18:01). No rush to PL! I'm just having fun reading this so I'm making good progress. Got to try out a bunch of different voices for this one!

Re: FULL [Play] The Young Idea by Noel Coward - dlo

Here's Act 1 for Gerda: https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/youngidea_gerda_1_128kb.mp3 (4:25)
This is my first play submission so I hope I did it correctly! Happy to change anything that needs to be fixed. Thanks! :)

Re: [SOLO] The Home-Maker by Dorothy Canfield Fisher - dc

Section 1 has been updated and ready for spot PL (now 18:36 - hopefully)
Section 2 has been completed! (35:38)
Links are in the MW. I used your Generate Silence tip, so hopefully that worked and nothing got screwed up at the end, lol. Just let me know! Thanks!

Re: [SCIENCE] A History of Astronomy by W. W. Bryant - availle

PL notes! Section 21: It seems like a few extra seconds of silence were left in at the end. Cutting at 12:40 will leave you at 5 seconds, and remove extraneous sounds. Everything was great otherwise! Section 23: The first 30-40 seconds of your audio sounded distorted. The ends of syllables and words...

Re: [SOLO] The Home-Maker by Dorothy Canfield Fisher - dc

Okay sure, no problem! Sometimes I have a hard time telling when to start counting the 5 seconds, so I err on the side of starting the second after the last audible sound, if that makes sense. But I can totally trim it. Thanks for the quick PL and the nice feedback!

Section 1 completed! Link is in the MW. 18:37
I discovered an awesome assemblage of words at the end of this chapter which I'm going to add to my signature. I'm glad I chose this book! :D

Re: [SCIENCE] A History of Astronomy by W. W. Bryant - availle

PL notes!
Section 11: spot PL ok
Section 15: There was a self-correction/repeat at approximately 11:22. "It can hardly be determined-it can hardly be denied..." No other issues. Nice job with that exhaustive list of cities and observatories, btw! Whew!

Re: [SOLO] The Home-Maker by Dorothy Canfield Fisher - dc

Hello, just posting here to update. I still intend to record this project. I had an emergency come up that I needed to attend to, but I am back in the game now. Hoping to get the first section done in the next week or so. Thanks! 8-)

Re: [SCIENCE] A History of Astronomy by W. W. Bryant - availle

Two more sections PL'd: Section 9: PL OK Section 11 PL notes: - First of all, nice read! I thought your speech was clear and your pacing was great. - As you noted earlier, the beginning will need to be cut so that there is only one second or less of silence before you begin speaking. - Around :13, t...
