Re: [HISTORY/TRAVEL]The Pilgrims' Way from Winchester to Canterbury, By Julia Cartwright - icequeen

... and now Chapter 14, "The Martyr's Shrine". The link is

https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/pilgrimsway_14_cartwright_128kb.mp3

and the length 18:02. I think the Latin's ok, but I had to guess on the mediaeval French! I don't think it's too far off, though... :hmm:

Thank you! Do you have a time duration for your file, just so that I can make sure I have the whole thing?

Re: [HISTORY/TRAVEL]The Pilgrims' Way from Winchester to Canterbury, By Julia Cartwright - icequeen

Hi! This looks like fun. I'd like to claim S0 (the preface), S3 (Alton to Compton) and S14 (The Martyr's Shrine) please! All three are yours! Thank you! That's great. One quick question: 1. Announcing the preface, do I say: "Chapter 0, Preface", or simply "Preface"? My thinking is simply "Preface",...

Super, and thanks for the kind words!

Yes, the one with the PL feedback was the one I meant. I must look further about how to split submissions...

UnclePip takes the stage...

I am a retired Air Traffic Controller, in the UK. I have done a fair bit of amateur dramatics in my time, and belong to my local group here in Norfolk, England. 1-Minute Test [OK]

New volunteer here: I've just uploaded my 1-minute test at:

https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_unclepip.mp3

For raw recordings I use an Olympus LS-P1 recorder with a lapel mic, and edit on a Mac with Audacity 2.4.1. Looking forward to feedback! I'll put a proper intro in the "New Here?" forum!
