Thank you, Liber! It's great to see another addition to our collection of old Italian prose.
Thank you, Michael. Also note that I made a mistake: this is the proto-story of 'Melchisedec giudeo', Decameron I:3, not 'Abraam giudeo', Decameron I:2. I have just corrected it in the Keywords.

Re: [GROUP]Multilingual Short Works Collection 026 - Poetry & Prose by Various - thw

This is the proto-story that anticipated Boccaccio's Decameron I:3, 'Melchisedec giudeo'. Among other things, the intention of the story - and the reason why it is historically significant - was to imagine and justify a world where different cultures coexisted (more or less) peacefully. Note that th...

Hi Sonia and Michael, Thank you for your support. Everytime I submit a file I obsess about a million ways I could have done it differently, so thank you for the kind words, they are very much appreciated. :D And thank you, Michael, for adding the Latin disclaimer to the wiki page :-) ___ Mariotto e ...

Oh, interesting, I wasn't aware that Erasmus published an edition that included the Vulgate. Did you read from Erasmus' translation or the Vulgate? We catalog Bible recordings with the name of the version (e.g., BIBLIA SACRA VULGATA) being used in the author field, which will allow us to dodge the ...

Re: [ITAL - GROUP] Antologia di poetesse italiane, Varie-Leni

Ciao Michael, Grazie d'aver controllato.

Re: [OPEN]Multilingual Short Works Collection 025 - Poetry & Prose - thw

I copied the scores above and used the "Noteflight" software to create wav files. so the musical notes are PD and you say you input them yourself, so that makes it alright, now worries about copyright problems. I listened with different headphones tonight and yes, I can hear the music now, although...
