Re: OPEN [DR] Little Men by Louisa May Alcott - rap
Not sure if this has already been answered, but what are we doing about the song in the last chapter? Is there a tune to follow? Thanks

Re: OPEN [DR] Little Men by Louisa May Alcott - rap
It wouldn't have allowed me to amplify it any further without allowing clipping, so I made another recording. Hopefully this time it works :) https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/littlemen_[nedbarker]_[4]_128kb.mp3 Also, here are Ned's lines in Chapter 6: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelin...

Re: OPEN [DR] Little Men by Louisa May Alcott - rap
Ned Barker 4 is almost PL OK. Tech specs were right and it was excellently read. However, it falls just outside of the target decibel range (it's at 85.6 dB and the target range is 86-92 dB.) Could you please amplify by maybe 3.4 dB to get it right at 90 dB? That would be perfect. Thank you, Daria!...

Re: OPEN [DR] Little Men by Louisa May Alcott - rap
Great, thank you! If you ever want help on something, you can always create a sample file and post it in the Need Help Got Advice forum :D I can do this one first, but we usually do first come first serve. I've got quite a bit here, (I kind of like to wait a moment with DR's so I PL a bunch ...

Re: OPEN [DR] Little Men by Louisa May Alcott - rap
Hey! I'm a little confused... all submitted files are proof listened, regardless of the experience of the volunteer, to check for errors/tech spec mishaps. is that what you were asking? I was just wondering if I could maybe get feedback on this recording before starting with the rest, in cas...

Re: OPEN [DR] Little Men by Louisa May Alcott - rap
Hello! :) I am relatively new to LibriVox, and this would be my first DR project. I am thinking of claiming Ned Barker. However, I don't think I can do an American accent (in fact I have a slight Eastern-European one), and I was wondering if that would be okay? Thank you! Whoops! it doesn't look li...

Re: The all-new "HELP! I have an Audacity problem" thread
It is possible that it vaporized your folder. I take it if you open the .aup file, it doesn't find the audio? It's very risky to move the .aup file and data folders, as you seem to have found out. :? In future, either do a Save As to "move" to a different folder, or export the raw file as...

Re: The all-new "HELP! I have an Audacity problem" thread
Hi everyone. I am panicking a little... I was working on a recording which was finished, and only needed some editing. While I had the aup. file opened, I moved both the aup. and the _data files to a different folder. Then I saved the aup. file and closed it. But my _data folder has disappeared. It ...

Re: [OPEN] Short Science Fiction Collection 068-ag
Hello! I am new to LibriVox, and am thinking of reading a story for this collection as my first recording. I am thinking of Asleep in Armageddon by Ray Bradbury, and just wanted to double check if that would be okay. It says on the American Literature website that the story is in the public domain, ...
