Re: [OPEN/GRP FICTION] A Lost Lady by Willa S. Cather - lny
Hi! I am sorry to say that I'll have to give up section 7. I am in the midst of editing section 6, and I'll try to get it done as soon as I can. I have a big exam coming up, and it's turning out to be a lot more complicated than I thought. Sorry again for the inconvenience!

Volunteer Hours for Students
I'm a high school student, and also an aspiring voice actor and actor. Lately I've been hearing a lot about university, and how I need to collect volunteer hours. Could the hours I spend on prepping, recording and editing for Librivox count as volunteer hours/community service?

Re: [GRP FICTION] A Lost Lady by Willa S. Cather - lny
I have a quick question about Part 1, Chapter 6, bottom of page 73. There's the line "Three. Two from Denver and one from California." Her husband gave them to her. "Did you sleep, Maidy? From my understanding, Neil says "Three. Two from Denver and one from California." and her husband says "Did you...

Re: [novel] A Day's Journey by Netta Syrett - rap
I definitely would like to, I really like this book. I won’t claim anything for now since I’m still editing chapter 5 and have some other chapters to record, but I’ll certainly return for more when I’m done with those!

Hmm I didn't think about that before recording. I just stuck with my natural accent, which is CanadianVorpaldiva wrote: ↑June 29th, 2020, 1:28 pmCurious to know if you are all using an English accent when you read. My natural accent is American.

Re: [novel] A Day's Journey by Netta Syrett - rap
As I was editing, I suddenly realized that whenever "Mrs. Summers" appears in the text, I read "Miss Summers" instead of "Misses Summers". Should I rerecord the parts where I made this mistake or does it not make a big difference?

Re: [GRP/SELF-HELP] Character, by Samuel Smiles - tg
just to verify, we read the quotes at the beginning of the chapter, right? And are footnotes the little numbers found in the text that link to notes at the bottom and the words in brackets? Example: Though politeness, in its best form, should [18as St. Francis de Sales says] resemble water—"best whe...
