Re: [Grp/Detective] Call Mr. Fortune by H.C. Bailey - lt
Hi Lynnet. I agree with you on PW. Should have worked on both. Did some months ago when I submitted two. But not now. Just logged in few minutes ago on old password and got in fine. But yesterday, as I wrote, only worked for upload when I got new PW. I know it makes no sense but that was my experien...

Re: [Grp/Detective] Call Mr. Fortune by H.C. Bailey - lt
Finally got it done. Two days. Help desk didn't respond so decided on a new measure. Got a new PW. It appears that the PW to log into LV is different from the PW to upload. That's the only conclusion I can reach. Doesn't make sense but my PW to get into LV worked but not to upload. Go figure. Anyway...

Won't accept my login to upload recording
Hello: Tried several times yesterday and today to upload my recording of section 7 of "Call Mr. Fortune". LV wouldn't accept my login for the upload (BTW, I was already logged in). Every time I was already logged in. On each occasion I closed LV and tried again. So, today I logged out, clo...

Re: [Weekly Poetry] Trifles by John Charles McNeill - dl
Hello Aradlaw. My apologies. Fyi: Actually, I did try to be careful. I saw that "tags" would be added automatically. Knew that was "MP3" but unsure about 128kb. Anyway, had Checker assess my recording. It wouldn't accept my recording which had "128kb" in the title so I ...

Re: [Weekly Poetry] Trifles by John Charles McNeill - dl
I'm thinking about recording Trifles. But, you already have nine submissions with room for eleven more. Same poem. So, after you have your twenty, what do you do next? Pick the best? Publish it as a completed project with all twenty, LV readers selecting their favorite reader? No criticism just can'...

Recording Equipment
I'm a Pler. Want to read. All in preparation for recording my recent novel on Amazon. New to this. I'll need a good mike. Editing equipment. Not interested in low-balling this. Willing to pay $200-300. Want to do a good job for LV. Spent decades on my novel. Hope I'm making sense. Maybe I'm overthin...

Re: FULL [DRAM READ] Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky-maryann
19 fine. To sum up, I'll do 00 & 19. Glad (I guess?) you have too many PLs. May I ask: Do you have the same problem with readers? Reason: Would like to graduate to that but if you have too many won't trouble LV. Just a thought. You don't need to answer.

Re: FULL [DRAM READ] Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky-maryann
Hi Linny. I hope I'm responding in the correct reply box. Yes, happy to help. Will do 00 & 16. BTW: thanks for the easy to understand PL assignment. I've had suuuch trouble. No doubt operator error but frustration. Nonetheless, will have them done in a couple of days.
