Re: Selected Poems - Herrera y Reissig - ans
That's a hard question to answer. If there is a Wiki entry available that goes into the author database then enough for a 2 and and bit lines in the catalogue looks OK but it depends how much you know and what you think contributes to the listeners understanding of the poetry. So in a way what you f...

Re: The all-new "HELP! I have an Audacity problem" thread
yes as to checker. It was written by a DPLers husband to checked submitted files easily for the tech bits, when I PLed multi projects I'd download them into the day's folder and drop them into checker before listening.

Re: Covermakers Chat Thread
It doesn't matter what program you use - depends what you have either something you paid for or what comes free. But you do need to read the first post in the covermakers thread carefully - we are restricted legally to what we can use as an image and restricted by cataloguing software as to size and...

Re: Volunteer CD Covers! Working Thread
Preclaim list works on project number - so it's not possible - no project, no project number. Annevictoriaalicebell wrote: ↑May 17th, 2024, 12:58 pm I'd claim the cover for my upcoming project, Anne of Green Gables, if that's possible.
Thanks,

Re: Today's theoretical question
I have visions of you waiting patiently for a thunderstorm to finish your play recording, rushing out your door holding up your phone to record it - and finishing up as a heap of ashes as lightening struck......
We would miss you.

Re: Dramatic Reading Novels In Preparation
I've moved a couple of "role-claiming" posts over to the DR Suggestions thread. This thread is just for BCs. Just for BCs who fit into this If you are an experienced DR BC (meaning you have completely produced a play or novel) who is scripting a novel , AND you will be running that...

Re: pass with a warning 50 times
Thanks Checker was written to help proof listeners check the files the are testing and is probably not the best thing for 1 minute tests. The Failed you are getting is for the file name for projects - and can be ignored as can the time. So at the moment your test file passes as a test file. You have...

Re: Including reader's name in the MP3 tags
Anyone using our files for any purpose takes the files with our mp3 tags - what they do with them then is up to them. I would also say that a very small % of our readers do read their names - but that may depend on what I listen to and what you listen to. I've no stats to prove either of our opinion...

Re: Including reader's name in the MP3 tags
I can't see any need and it would make changing names impossible- and it does happen. I can think of a number of cases where we have been asked to take things down and we have just changed the name.
Also what is in the tags goes out into all the world and can not be changed.

Re: ~SOLO The House on the Cliff | Franklin W. Dixon
One will probably drop in now we are sorted out - but you can start recording without one - often posting some files encourages PLers to commit. And knowing you already have recorded a book will also help.
And I'll tidy up the thread now.
