Re: Defeating your nemesis.

The forum software only allows you to delete your posts if there are no answers - but if you want I will delete the thread, but it is OK to leave it. Everyone was new once and most of us remember that. And although I try not to use my local slang terms here, I do forget sometimes.

Re: A Couple of Cover Fixes

Re: ( solo) Argonauts of the Western Pacific by Bronisław Malinowski-ans

My approach to footnotes has always been "see page 651" leave out " see Smith - X journal vol 35 xxii" leave out If it is of the text - " Wielding his mugwump " with a footnote saying "mugwump - Malay word for rolling pin" I'd say " Wielding his mugwump &...

Re: Heidi, by Johanna Spyri

I needed to look it up - according to Wikipedia Between 1933 and 1955, French publishing company Flammarion published a new edition of Heidi along with a series of new original sequels. Despite being all published under Johanna Spyri's name, this books were neither written nor endorsed by Spyri, but...

The one with Samel Johnson it is was great but has to be a modern dramatic photo and has inbuilt Alarmy water marks, I did like this one at Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ye_Olde_Cheshire_Cheese (The one ...
