Re: Most popular public domain works in LV?
There is no provision for anyone including admins to find out in any way not available to all members. We try to label 2nd and later versions of projects mainly so that they can be identified if changes need to be made. But not parts of collections Just from my impressions Tell Tale Heart is a popul...

Re: ~[SOLO] The Cold Heart by Wilhelm Hauff-ans
You need to realise that not everyone agrees about voices , people who I would describe as some of our best readers can get terrible reviews on those sites that allow reviews. Just regard it as reading a book to a sick friend or relative.

Re: ~[SOLO] The Cold Heart by Wilhelm Hauff-ans
It's a nice short project - I'll add you to the database and close the pl request post . I'll be off line then for a bit - the reader may be able to give you any help you need about access to the MW but you can start listening as soon as you like. (I started out as a proof listener :D ) Anne I see y...

Re: ~[SOLO] The Cold Heart by Wilhelm Hauff-ans
It's hard to know what will appeal to another volunteer or what they pick up and when. Often projects are picked up in the launch pad. You could try setting up a thread in the listeners and editors wanted "https://forum.librivox.org/viewforum.php?f=61" . If you use the template linked at t...

Re: [SOLO] Lavengro: The Scholar, The Gypsy, The Priest, by George Borrow-ans
I'm no expert - just Naval pensioners in my mind were associated with Greenwich Mean Time and thought Battersea Park was drained marshland - saw it on TV once about the restoration and water birds returning etc. I am MCing 2 projects about London both read by Peters and I actually thought I'd posted...

Thought the Chelsea pensioners(army) wore red and the Greenwich pensioners (naval) wore blue? . I don't know what was at Battersea before the power house though.

Re: Hello from Australia
I've been to Broken Hill and the Flinders Ranges and flown over Lake Eyre when it was full of water and Pelicans, and spend time in Nhill on the edge of the Little Desert and the night sky is magic away from cities. But I was younger then.

Re: Hello from Australia
NT is the only state I've not visited, though there are huge areas of WA and Qld that I've not visited - my husband loved visiting vineyards so they didn't appeal to him . My son was at a hockey tournament in Canberra so we went there
