Re: Please confirm usability for a 1924 book (Huizinga)

I don't believe so - a 1924 edition would be OK but this is not one. It may well be PD in India - I don't know. But for the USA it is not. Re: SOLO A Guide to the Lakes by Thomas West - annise

It is definitely sledge not fledge - the thing that looks a bit like an f is a "long s" -it's easy to distinguish in handwriting but not so in print - so it died out but was stil used quite often in double s - my great grandfather Neuss wrote his name Neufs in the 1860s I helped transcribe a number ...

Re: Misclassified stories

We aren't in the movie business. That's how we classify things - we aren't a library either :D . And dishonesty/honesty does not come into it.

Re: [COMPLETE] Nada the Lily by H. Rider Haggard-ans

I'm well out of the actual fire zone - I say zone because the main sites are all along the Great Divjding Range which goes north-south in from the coast line and does an east turn from the sea through most of Victoria -. everything is very dry and lightning strikes in remote parts cause most of the ...

Re: Volunteer CD Covers! Working Thread

I'm still highly confused -we have Lectures of Col. R.G. Ingersoll, Volume 1 Lectures of Col. R.G. Ingersoll, Volume 2 The Works Of Robert G. Ingersoll, Volume 4 The Works of Robert G. Ingersoll, Volume 10 - Legal then we have Ingersoll on SHAKESPEARE, from The Works of Robert G. Ingersoll, Volume 3...
