Test - new system - LCaulkins

Would appreciate feedback after setting everything up again on this new computer - https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_lcaulkins.mp3 (no noise reduction, had a devil of a time getting the mic and Audacity happy together) Windows 10 (1909, 64 bit), Blue Nano mic, Audacity 2.3.3 specifically looki...

Re: GROUP - The Red Reign: The True Story of a Year in Russia, by Kellogg Durland

I will DPL, except the chapters I record (for which I will advertise when necessary).

Also, I am dedicated to keeping this project from taking longer than a year.

(to be edited) Kellogg Durland spent a year in Russia as a journalist in 1906, during a seminal period in Russian history. This is a highly interesting read, knowing as we do what fell out for Russia i...

Chapter 27 and 28 are both PL OK

And the first LibriVox work I've done on my new computer. I appreciated you uploaded 25-28 ahead of your normal modus operandi, and then my laptop promptly died. Of course.

Ok... you seem to be on a roll. So I split up my last 8-count into 2 4-counts. Therefore, I have just dropped Chapters 25 through 28 for you. And I got to get a little Angry in Ch 28...so hopefully you can enjoy that! Chapter 25 and Chapter 26 are both Checker passed and PL OK  Loved the ch...

So now I putz around over there, as well. Hope you like it here - and best wishes ...

It's definitely that time of year! No problem, waiting - my computer is D Y I N G for sure, and I'm going to spend the rest of today shopping for its replacement. May take me a couple of days to get the new one set up and everything loaded for more recording/PL'ing. Not my favorite thing to do. Nor ...
