Re: Annoying words

Re: What is your studio like?

My studio is my little log cabin that I had built at the bottom of my garden when we moved into our house 2 years ago. It is my sanctuary and also the place the good lady "B" banished all my books and computers to. In front of me, behind my pc is a large shelf full of books which helps to ...

Re: Don't you hate...

windows updates. I came down to my cabin to do some recording yesterday and saw that my computer had an update to apply. So I thought I would "re-start and apply updates" while I pop back up to the house to make myself a coffee. Well, 3 hours later and the PC had just finished updating but...

 It sounded good to me... but it's 45 years since I studied Latin  (I was an infant...). I thought you were going to tell me you taught it or something.

So assigned! You get a couple of months to complete it, but if you find it's going to take longer, you can ask for an extension. Thanks Lynnet. I've already recorded the first paragraph. I'm back to work tomorrow but I have mon, tues and wed off next week so I will try to get it completed in those ...

Hi there. I notice that Chapter 9, Lecture IX ritual continued is still open. Could I claim it? It might take me a week or two to record it though as I'm a bit swamped at work. I've been away from narration and all my hobbies for the past couple of months due to real life getting in the way, meaning...

Re: [Weekly Poetry] A Canadian Song by Susanna Moodie - dl

Hello everyone. Here is my little attempt at this lovely poem. Life has dragged me away from Librivox and my other hobbies over recent months thanks to not being at home for long periods due to work!! Anyway, I'm hoping I can get back into this more regularly. Here is my attempt to blow the rust off...
