Re: Weekly/Fortnightly Poetry Suggestions
I think "Night-Gaunts" by Lovecraft (published 1939) would be a fun read. It is out of copyright, since its copyright was never renewed [source] (though no Gutenberg source) Sorry, atole and Michele, I've double-checked and we cannot use this poem. If it isn't on PG and not on HathiTrust ...

Sorry I haven't been able to read the riming poem yet - I've come down with everyone's favourite coronavirus. If anyone else wants to take it off my hands, feel free - otherwise I'll try again when my voice sounds less stuffy.

Re: [OPEN]A Collection of Anglo-Saxon Poetry (The Exeter Book) - kit
I'd like to attempt section 34, please!
On a side note: I do think it's a bit of a shame the Old English isn't being read. It feels like reading a translation of Chaucer rather than the Middle English.

Section 59 'They're Only Weans' done here, 59.85s:

As a sidenote, if there's anyone who's actually from Ireland who wants to record over this, feel free. This poem doesn't work without a Gaelic accent.
