Re: Friendly Contest: Guess the 2020 Project Total

I didn’t post right away when I did my guesstimating on Sunday, but I'll resist the urge to change my number. My guess: 1337

Maybe I should have gone higher, considering that there have since been whispers of loser rewards... 8-)

Sure, if you like. It's a short piece. :)

I love the enthusiasm you put into it! Seemed to me like the stumbles were from a good cause - being wrapped up in what's happening.

Re: ~[SOLO] A Little Girl in Old Philadelphia by Amanda M. Douglas

You may start recording, but you just won't be able to upload till you have an MC. About a DPL, sometimes an entire book is uploaded before one comes along. So unless you want input before doing a bunch of recording, I'd say go for it.

Have fun! :)

Re: I need help on how to start prooflistening

My suggestion is to start out by reading this post: https://forum.librivox.org/viewtopic.php?p=318667#p318667 I know there's a lot to read there, but it gives a wealth of information that you will need to be able to proof listen as required. Also check out the links within the post. Some things get ...

I'm assuming PG releases the covers it makes so it's OK unless I find out they don't.
does make a quick cover easy.
Caught and linked - thank you :D
Anne
Oops! I just assumed it was from the original book. Should I change the photo credit and re-upload?

I haven't done one for a while, so it feels like I must have missed something if I'm done so quickly! Let me know if I have. :)

Thanks,

 I had DPLed 'Animals' and forgot that the project was still waiting to be cataloged till I came across it the other day. I hope someone can also dress them up with covers in time! :) EDIT: Don't worry about me. 8-) Y'all are doing great, and I saw that the covers have been under considerati...

I certainly enjoyed it! :D Just a bit of a note on this one as well... ~4:56 (Text in bold) "... See if she recognizes me." Summoned by Charles, The word 'me' seems to have been chopped out. *Volume also needs amplified, as it's at 85.5 dB. Thanks for all the great listening! I've been a long time H...

I've been waiting for it all day! :) (I PL'ed the others this morning from my phone, but wanted to check technical things before posting.) I'll listen to section 13 in a bit, and in the meantime I'll give you my other findings. ;) Section 1 Spot PL OK  Great job on the patch! I wouldn't know...
