Re: FULL[PLAY]The Magnificent Lovers by Molière - thw

... a squeaky Cupid !!! I have to ask, how did you get your voice like that ? Is it enhancement or is this your natural range ? It sounds so different from your other parts. It will give a great effect in chorus though  thanks ... (giggle) It's strictly a biological effect. I was a ...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Magnificent Lovers by Molière - thw

If Another Cupid from act 1 is still available, I could perform it. However, I won't have access to my recording equipment until May 18th. Is that OK?

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The "Mind The Paint" Girl by Pinero - thw

Nita Trevenna from Act 2 is ready for PL. Length is 1:50. https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/mindthepaintgirl_nitatrevenna_2_128kb.mp3 (Sneak peek is at https://instaud.io/3DOO .) Feedback is, as always, most welcome. In particular, is it too noisy? My environment is much quieter now (peaks at -51 ...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The "Mind The Paint" Girl by Pinero - thw

Another question... Should I voice The Others in Act 3 or The Men in Act 3? I could do both.

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The "Mind The Paint" Girl by Pinero - thw

How do I arrange "The Ladies" in addition to Nita from Act 2? At this point, it would be [easier on me] to deliver them in separate files. I could name them mindthepaintgirl_nitatrevenna_2_128kb.aup [and] mindthepaintgirl_nitaladies_2_128kb.aup ... would that be OK?

Re: [group] The Fir-Tree Fairy Book by Clifton Johnson -ck

... Also, for future recordings, if it is too much for this one (not totally necessary, I think), is that there is some clipping, degrading the audio quality. It is brief and infrequent here but using a compression (or a limiter) before the amplification should help tame those peaks. Pardon the int...

Re: FULL[PLAY]The Lying Lover by Steele - thw

... thank you for this extra push now at the end :9: Oh and I loved this final scene where Latine is desperately and heroically trying to take the blame on himself for the death of Lovemore. What a cool character, excellently done. Thank you. It was fun! You're right though, the initial musings see...

Are the pauses in my opening prose too long? Any other feedback much appreciated.

Re: FULL[PLAY]The Lying Lover by Steele - thw

This production has never been far from my conscious thought, rather overcome by events. I see now that communicating more frequently would have been in order. Thank you for the feedback. If I had to do it again, I would have made the drunken speech more consistent. It was surprisingly difficult to ...

Re: FULL[PLAY]The Lying Lover by Steele - thw

In Act IV, it seems fair to say Latine is WICKED DRUNK in the first two scenes... but is it reasonable to portray him as almost completely sober in Scene 3? Or has not enough time passed? (Granted, he might process the alcohol swiftly...)

Re: FULL[PLAY]The Lying Lover by Steele - thw

Notes... For the Latin v, I pronounced it using the classical w sound. Hmm, I may have delivered that line too angrily...

Also, I upgraded my mic. It's a little warmer in the baritone range.
